The Humane Wildlife Control Association (HWCA) is a national trade association committed to promoting humane, ethical practices in the wildlife control industry. As a nonprofit, membership-based organization, HWCA serves individuals and businesses dedicated to resolving human-wildlife conflicts with integrity, compassion, and professionalism. Our mission is to support and empower those who approach wildlife challenges through non-lethal, science-based, and ethical methods.
HWCA welcomes all professionals committed to resolving human-wildlife conflicts through ethical, humane methods that prioritize animal welfare and environmental responsibility. Our members include wildlife control operators, pest control professionals, wildlife rehabilitators, and product vendors. Membership provides access to exclusive training and certification, helpful resources, and networking opportunities.
Advocating for Ethical and Humane Standards
HWCA’s Humane Advocacy Fund is dedicated to advancing and promoting humane, non-lethal solutions to human–wildlife conflicts while challenging cruel and outdated practices.
Donations to the Fund support vital advocacy efforts, including legislative initiatives and public awareness campaigns designed to shift the wildlife control industry toward more humane, ethical, and science-based standards.
We also accept donations designated for specific mentorship and tuition programs, helping to educate and empower the next generation of humane wildlife control professionals.
