Membership Options
Supporting Membership
$75 annually
For individuals who believe in HWCA's mission and want to support the advancement of humane wildlife practices.
Supporting Membership is ideal for wildlife rehabilitators, educators, researchers, students, nonprofit professionals, animal welfare advocates, retired professionals, and others who want to be part of the movement toward more humane solutions to human-wildlife conflicts.
Supporting members receive HWCA communications, educational resources, and access to selected member programs and events.
Professional Membership
$195 annually
For individuals who provide professional wildlife services and are committed to humane and ethical practices.
Professional members receive access to member resources, education and training opportunities, member pricing, professional networking, voting privileges, and eligibility for inclusion in the HWCA Professional Directory.
Professional members agree to abide by the HWCA Code of Ethics and applicable professional standards.
Business Membership
$295 annually
For businesses committed to providing humane and ethical wildlife services.
Business Membership includes membership for the business and two designated professional members, a business listing in the HWCA Professional Directory, member resources and pricing, educational opportunities, professional networking, and voting privileges.
Business members agree to uphold the HWCA Code of Ethics and applicable professional standards in the wildlife services they provide and promote.
Membership Means Something
HWCA membership represents a commitment to humane, ethical, and responsible practices.
Professional and Business Members agree to abide by the HWCA Code of Ethics and applicable professional standards. Membership is not simply permission to use the HWCA name or logo—it represents an ongoing commitment to the principles the Association was created to advance.
HWCA reserves the right to review, deny, suspend, or revoke Professional or Business Membership when practices are inconsistent with the Association's Code of Ethics or professional standards.
Membership & Certification
Membership and certification are not the same thing.
Membership demonstrates a commitment to HWCA's mission, ethical principles, and professional standards.
Certification recognizes individuals or businesses that have met specific HWCA requirements for knowledge, training, competency, or professional practice.
HWCA members may receive reduced pricing and other benefits when pursuing HWCA certifications.
