HumanePro Certification Program

HumanePro is an exclusive training and certification program for vertebrate pest management professionals, wildlife control operators, and human-wildlife conflict specialists. Certification identifies individuals and companies that have committed to HumanePro’s industry-leading standards for humane, ethical, and poison-free practices—making it a brand consumers can trust.

HumanePro certification is recognized by environmental organizations and animal welfare societies throughout the United States.


HumanePro Principles

 

When providing HumanePro services, a HumanePro Certified technician shall:

• Make human safety a top priority

• Adhere to all laws and regulations relevant to the services being performed

• Prioritize humane, non-lethal methods

• Treat every animal with compassion and respect

• Follow HumanePro’s StepWise Essentials

• Recognize the intrinsic value of wildlife and their role in the ecosystem

• Promote compassion, kindness, and tolerance in all interactions

• Treat customers with respect—being courteous, honest, and dependable

• Handle each customer’s property with the utmost care, as if it were their own

• Be fair in pricing and transparent about all costs

• Advocate for greater understanding and appreciation of animals and the natural world

 

Get HumanePro Certified

 

Step One: Complete the HumanePro Certification Application and submit the full package, including all requested materials, via email.

Step Two: Upon acceptance, complete a HumanePro Certification module or course.

Step Three: Pass the corresponding HumanePro examination with a qualifying score.

Step Four: Review and sign the HumanePro Certification Affidavit.

Step Five: Receive your Welcome Packet and gain access to member resources, including the right to use the HumanePro Certification title and certification mark, as outlined in the licensing agreement.
